Safe consumption for your “organics”

As the globe slowly decriminalises and legalises marijuana, technology follows suit to accommodate the growing global needs to be pro “green”. A new app called MyDx has been developed to test the purity of the popular medicinal herb and track chemicals and pesticides to make sure it’s safe for uh, medical consumption. And the technology is also good for other organics, such as all fruits, vegetables and food to make sure you know what you’re eating is scientifically and medically safe, along with other info.

Pure or unpure? MyDx can tell

MyDx, short for My Diagnostic, is the first portable analyzer in the world. It comes in a small black box that takes samples of any herbals, organics and food you want to test, and connects to your smartphone for results, in just seconds. It tests for all solid foods and drinks and checks for all bad chemicals, pesticides and other poisons. It also tests for air purity and level of pollution and chemicals. The project started on fundraising site Indiegogo.com and already surpassed its initial $19,000 goal, ending at $39,939 USD, 201% of the actual goal.

It is available in two formats, one for the original version, the cheaper $199.00 MyDx set for Cannabis and the My Dx Multi-use for $249.00. Those who preorder receive a 50 percent discount.

Aside from these it features a MyDx sensor, Bluetooth connectivity, temperature and humidity sensors, GPS Locator, UV light for hidden stains plus a backup charger.

In Continuous development

MyDx is located in San Diego, California and initially developed the app and hardware for legal marijuana consumers to have safe and chemical free medicine. It follows current medical and scientific advances in relation to legalisation and decriminalisation of marijuana around the world for treating tumors, cancer, epilepsy, leukemia and many other medical uses.

The need for purer and cleaner sources of its medicine properties is now in demand prompting MyDx’s role as the first all-around organic purity tester. Apparently, the same technology applies to other organics and food, and for air purity. From there, the company branched out early to widen its practical applications.

Purchasing both MyDx models warrants understanding that the customer is aware of usage conditions applicable at the countries and 20 US States that have it legal or decriminalised.

Among other future developments would be to use MyDx’s air detecting capabilities to test for sicknesses, industrial toxin identification, vaporizer to test pesticides and other poisons in all types of matter.
