Star Wars 7 fever is just around the corner. And with the start of this sequel trilogy featuring the old and new, merchandise mania follows. Toys, accessories, memorabilia, games, comics, and of course gadgets are some of the best sellers to leave empty pockets and long lines.
Gadgets are a special market for this franchise, because it’s got functionality aside from the cool designs and brand collectability. Here are top five hot selling devices and gadgets that translate into instant $$$ for all happy sellers and shop owners.
5. The Force Trainer
We don’t know what the hell is in The Force Trainer, except it is controlled by the mind’s connection to The Force (via a headset that uses “dry neural sensor technology”) which makes the sphere in the glass tunnel float. It may help our mind focus and sharpen our skills using The Force. It may also lure us into The Dark Side with cooler red lightsabers and even cooler all-black villain outfits.
Hopefully, after enough games with this, we will be able to use The Force to do laundry, clean the house, mind control annoying neighbors to give you their money, shut up your wife or husband, or maybe even pick up pet’s poop and launch it against someone, and other fun stuff.

4. Power Banks
Power banks are always a welcome addition to any smartphone and tablet fan, and having them in the car, office, or bag available anytime adds to important battery life.
The Official Darth Vader Lightsaber charging dock (2800 mAh) is great for emergency energy and showing off. But sadly it cannot be used for epic lightsaber duels, Jedi versus Sith style.
Meanwhile, the R2D2 & R2D9 car power banks are a great addition to any cars, with the droids sitting comfortably in the circular holders while giving up to two devices an extra boost at 2.1 Amps each. While they look great, they don’t have any other special features except dedicatedly provide extra energy, Star Wars style, which is already great.

3. Star Wars USB drives
It’s inevitable that we will have the Star Wars themed USB sticks / drives with a removable head of the character, and we were right of course. Popular handy items and gift or giveaway ideas, these Star Wars USB sticks feature cute SW characters but we don’t have the newer ones though, as most are the old reliables.
The ones by Tribe look the smoothest, with a small keychain tag for easy keeping, at 8GB plus 1GB in the Cloud (at Bespin perhaps?).
The ones by Mimobot have a cute elongated head look, but is designed with a hidden face inside the helmeted ones (no decapitated head covers), with 8GB in storage, plus a desktop theme suite with Wallpapers, Avatars, Icons, Screensavers, and special sound bites in autoplay once it is plugged in or out of the computer, which are all neat.

2. R2 – D2 Virtual Keyboard
Type anywhere for your computer without the Force’s assistance, but with R2D2 projecting a red virtual laser keyboard wherever you like (please avoid the dunny or thunderbox) with some R2D2 basic sounds included for on & off, typing, volume, and brightness controls. It works via Bluetooth for iOS / Android / Mac OS / Windows/ Blackberry, and is compact, perfect for those who want to type in different places and spaces.

1. The BB8 Smartphone droid
The most popular and highly profitable product tied in with Episode 7 is none other than the minimalist two-sphere droid BB8 by Sphero. It looks and works exactly like that in the film, but is controlled by the owner via an app on his or her smartphone.
Among special features are a custom patrol route, the ability to create and send holographic videos (without being later accosted for by Vader in the rebel ship), adapt and interact with its owner and immediate environment, also react and recognise its owner’s voice and even do its own actions as well.
Be creative maybe also do a lot of illegal shit for this pricey but great toy.
