There will come those times when you’ll crave a fat cheeseburger, or just a good, great burger in all generality. And those munchies will get you obsessed and bothered until you step in a burger place and get to it. That is the only most direct solution to the dilemma.

That said, some good and affordable burger shops in QC:

The Snack Shack

This newly opened contender makes some real mean burgers. Just come on down at the tail end of Maginhawa Street right next to the SM Savemore grocery.

Try the classic quarter pounder with cheese and tomatoes, onions, and lettuce, and don’t forget the in house Bebe Black edition hot sauce for a good kick.

They also have killer sausages: Currywurst, Bockwurst, and Hungarian, Bacon and Fries, and also chicken wings in case you need an additional “side” to your burger. 9/10 stars.

If you want an uplevel Angel’s Burger spot, this is the place. From the hotdogs to footlong, buy one take one burgers, etc.

Food is decent but their best item is the Quarter Pounder burger with cheese sauce , and is a modern classic of sorts for 60 pesos. It has a better and meatier patty than the regular buy one take ones. Nice try.

The only problem is that they are very inconsistent, and sometimes out of stock of that and the staff is most of the time only one overworked or very slow server / cook. (Visayas Ave across Pizza Hut)

Swaberger’s 1 and 2

There are two: the Swaberger 1 shop (24/7 ish) is near a Pares Restaurant upfront on Mindanao Avenue. It looks like a dilapidated mini fortress housed by a meth business look out / cook / server in that small branch. Really shady looking stall. Sometimes traffic cops hangout here to eat cheap. They only have plain burgers and not the ones I (you) wanted.

Swaberger 2 is some a few more steps away into Road 8 right before the first street on the right. You won’t miss it. It looks better than the upfront mini store and is armed with different bigger better burgers. There are even colored buns with customizable ingredients.

The bigger better best seller is the 50 pesos burger with a thick patty + mayo and cheese. There’s also a + veggies version which is great, and the best one for the stoner XXXL sized:

The Incredible Swabe Burger for 150 pesos (250 for the double version)

One question posted on their FB page read:
“para sa gano karami tao yun ganyan burger” (How many people is that burger for).

That’s a stupid question, sorry. A singular eating ritual munchies for just one is most possible. You can buy one and don’t share. Especially on situations such as a weekend bender where you got drank’d hard and want to buy one and feel guilty much later.

Old reliable Yvan Navy will fill up the spot for those munchies or drank’d food crave nites or midnight (SATAN) snacks. Aside from kebab rice and many other meals are their high selling popular but cheap burgers.

These burgers have three sauces: one is the cheese sauce type, the second is slightly sweet version, and the other a weird spicy one which is addictive at times. Yvan Navy’s all-beef patties are compatible with all three sauces..

Try pairing up a 100 pesos double quarter pounder as the main, and a regular quarter pounder burger for 50 pesos for “dessert” and watch your self go fat instantly. Opens at 2 pm onwards for late waking lazy stoners. 

Just in: Japanese meals including ramen (110 pesos with beef, pork, and chicken and egg), and okonomiyaki. Haha Goddamns.
