The Return (?) of Pop Corners

As mentioned before, PopN’Chips was the local version of the deluxe popcorn chips snack, Pop Corners. It is what lokal bud is to import Kush varieties; a cheaper (and in PopN’ Chips case, a more flavorful) knockoff of sorts.

It has since gradually disappeared from store shelves. Something tells me that lokal snack politics had a hand in it, after what seemed like a long, stupid, pointless stoned theory of mine.

Pop Corners is back though, and not distro’ed by elitist groceries or its former distributor Chef Tony’s. You can find it at Healthy Options, at 150 pesos per big pack.

“All is not lost brother, for truly there is a silver lining to everything that happens in life.”
